CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS
The following Project Cost Totals outline the direct costs of Administrative building and SRO buildings respectively.
The Project Cost Total reports are limited to the direct cost associated with the
building systems and do not include the indirect costs the owner and builder will incur in the design
and construction process. This focused report was generated to give the most applicable and useful
information in comparing this alternative construction method with traditional projects.
The total direct cost of the Administrative building is:
$1,782,840 or $103 per square foot of building.
The total direct cost of both SRO buildings is:
$714,629 or $125 per square foot of living space.
Although this project is likely to require prevailing wages for all labor performed on site, for the purposes of direct comparisons to past projects, only open shop pricing has been applied to this cost report.
