One of the advantages of 20’ International Standards Organization (ISO) shipping container is that you will know what you are receiving. ISO shipping containers are manufactured with identical size specification in terms of exterior height, exterior width and exterior length. Conditions of containers vary from new "One Trip" units, IICL-5, Cargo Worthy, Wind and Water Tight and "As Is".
The name “One Trip” comes from the fact that that the containers are manufactured overseas, mainly in Asia, and shipped with a single container cargo load. They are considered “New” or “Like New” because they have not been used to ship freight abroad for years, which results in typical wear and tear and eventual damage to the containers themselves. If you are looking to taking the guess work out of buying an ISO Shipping Container, a One Trip Unit is the way to go.
The 20ft ISO shipping containers have become the standard for portable jobsite, personal storage and commercial storage needs. A 20’ container has 1,165cu.ft. of interior space and can transport up to 62,150lbs. Each 20’ container for sale are comprised of 14-gauge corrugated steel and marine grade plywood flooring with a safe and secure cargo door on one end of the container.
Another advantage is the 20ft ISO container can fit in a single parking space and be transported and delivered with a much smaller and maneuverable vehicle. Typical rule of thumb for delivery space needed for any container is twice the length of the container plus 10’. Adequate height and width need to be taken into consideration for delivery as well.
We offer 20ft storage containers in all condition levels from new "One Trip" units, IICL-5, Cargo Worthy, Wind and Water Tight and "As Is". We offer custom modifications on all container sizes including 20ft ISO containers.
