20ft Refrigerated Container - New / One Trip
Overview
20’ Refrigerated Container - One Trip: Description
A new/one trip 20’ refrigerated container is loaded with cargo and shipped into the US. It only makes the trip once and is not utilized for international shipping service. A new/one trip 20’ refrigerated container does not bear any shipping line decals or markings. However, because they are loaded with cargo and shipped (just the one time), they will have minor cosmetic blemishes/imperfections.
These units are electric and require either 230V or 460V 3-phase power. When running 230V 3-phase power, the cooling system requires a dedicated 60-amp circuit. When running 460V 3-phase power, the cooling system requires a dedicated 30-amp circuit. They are typically equipped with a 50ft power cord.
The cooling systems can maintain temperatures below 0 degrees Fahrenheit (some models as low as-40 degrees Fahrenheit) and up to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
The 20’ refrigerated containers are equipped with lockable double cargo doors on one end. The interior walls/ceiling are stainless steel, and the floor is aluminum. They can accommodate up to 8 standard pallets (single stacked/side by side), and the flooring is rated for forklifts and pallet jacks.
